Agnes Thor, born in 1986 in Sweden, is an artist working with photography.
She often turns to nature as a subject, as well as translating emotions and memories in to photographs. She has a strong interest in the space between the tactile and the sublime; and although she often photographs the world around her, she never claims to document the world as it is, rather opening up the interpretation to the viewer.
She has a Bachelor of Fine Art from School of Photography at Gothenburg University and her work has been exhibited in Sweden, the US and several European countries. In 2010 UK publisher Mörel Books released her first monograph Aurora Borealis, and her second monograph, As The River Runs was published by Blackbook Publications in 2016.
Agnes Thor lives in Stockholm, Sweden,
